QMA PTA
QMA PTA have been working hard with the help of parents, staff and children to raise money to go towards an Adventure Trail for all children of the school to use. We are aiming to raise £6000.
Since January 2008 we have raised over £3000. A fantastic amount which was raised through Bingo night, Summer Fair, Jumble Sale, Discos, Colouring competitions, GTFC day and Bonus ball.
The PTA for the year 2008 is as follows:

We hold termly meetings with all members of the PTA, current and new, to develop fundraising ideas.

The PTA would like to say thank you to all children, parents/carers and staff who have helped raise over £300 during December with the Christmas Fair, Class Calendars and Name cards. We would also like to say a big thank you to Mrs Norton, who kindly donated £200 on her retirement from Queen Mary Avenue Infant and Nursery School in December 2008.
We would like to thank an anonymous donation of £500 given to the PTA in February. This, along with Bonus ball profits and a donation from the school have raised our total.
We have now ordered the Adventure Playground and it will begin to be built in April.
Our next fundraising event will be an Easter Bingo on Monday 30th March 2009, doors open at 5, eyes down at 5.45. Some great prizes to be won including Easter eggs and vouchers for various places.
