Queen Mary Avenue Infant and Nursery School

There are several important changes this year, there will be one single entrance into the reception classes at the beginning of September. Nursery children will be admitted after their third birthday.

We will also be developing our Community Room and increasing the number of events and courses offered to parents. Look at the Community Page.

We are thrilled with last year’s SATs assessment results and feel the introduction of Letters and Sounds across school helped us improve our Reading  results. We achieved National Averages and above  in Reading, Writing and Mathematics.

We are looking forward to this year and are hoping to improve our results yet again, this will be done by allowing children to learn in a fun hands on way.
